From scouting to delivery.

A year of press trips, television location scouting and event work across Norway, Sweden and Belgium.

As a Marketing Consultant at the Norwegian Seafood Council, I worked on projects where content, people and logistics had to function together. The work ranged from the coast of Northern Norway to Seafood Expo Global in Brussels.

Three parts of the assignment

Research, logistics and communication.

The assignments differed, but the approach remained the same: understand the objective, bring the right people together and make the details work in practice.

01

Television location scouting

I planned and delivered the scouting trip for the production company behind season four of Sveriges mästerkock. Together with the Council's Swedish representative, I presented potential locations in Trondheim and on Frøya.

02

Press trips and content

I planned and delivered press trips, supported journalists and partners, and contributed to scripting, filming, the media library and Spanish translations.

03

International events

For Master Conference and Seafood Expo Global 2014, I worked on hotel booking, participant registration and delivery at the Norwegian stand in Brussels.

Approach

Many details. One coherent delivery.

This was not one project with a fixed formula. It required moving between research, hosting, practical coordination and clear communication without losing sight of the whole.

Understand the assignment

Clarify the audience, the purpose and what the partners actually needed.

Build a workable plan

Connect locations, people, transport, accommodation and programme into something that could be delivered.

Follow through on the details

Stay present during delivery and solve the issues that emerged along the way.

The case reflects what I still enjoy most: turning a complex assignment into something concrete and deliverable.
